Friends of Libraries are:
Volunteers acting collectively and independently to preserve, promote and strengthen library services in harmony with library management and policies.

Friends of the Claresholm Public Library Society were formed on September 8, 1988.

The Friends group is a great way to get connected with your Claresholm Public Library.
Being a Friend means knowing that you are making a real contribution to ensure that your
Library remains a vital presence in the community.

Membership Fee: $5.00/year

  • Raise funds for projects in the Library and for activities of the Society.

 

Mission Statement:

The main inspiration behind the Friends is to raise extra funding for small projects in the Library, organize activities that promote good public relations, and undertake fund raising projects and advocacy of behalf of the Library with a willing band of folk to call upon when need be to help at events or programs.
